Available in 11x17 hickory and walnut. Please note that the engrave on the walnut has a more subtle appearance than the hickory as the walnut is dark on dark.
 
Care Instructions: Your board will come with an initial treatment of food safe mineral oil to protect the wood and prevent drying and cracking. You can add a 1oz tin of wood wax to your order or you will want to purchase food safe mineral oil (there are lots available on Amazon) and apply it to your board every 1-2 months, or sooner if used frequently. DO NOT put your board in the dishwasher or soak it in water. Handwash with hot soapy water, dry with a dish towel and store standing up.
Wear and Tear: Over time you will notice cut marks and other wear and tear on your board. Just clean the board, give it a quick sand (by hand), wash, dry and oil! You can start with a coarse grit sand paper and work your way to a finer grit paper until the board is restored to your satisfaction.
A fuzzy / rough surface on your new cutting board after the first few uses is common. The water and scrubbing used for cleaning can cause the fibers that were under the smooth sanded surface in the board to swell and poke out resulting in the rough or fuzzy feel. Don't worry, this is normal! You can continue to use the board as usual and those fibers will be worn down over time. The performance, life, or safety of the board is not affected in any way.
